Welcome to the SEEK Registration Portal!
The SEEK program is designed to be a fun and engaging educational experience, led by NSBE engineering students, technical professionals, and educators dedicated to pursuing professional excellence and giving back to the community. The SEEK Program utilizes a hands-on design curriculum, with a major focus on the Engineering Design Process. Working in teams, students use their knowledge to solve problems and create products while discovering the underlying math and science principles involved in these processes. Each week, the students will take on a new project, culminating with a presentation, design competition, and physical competitions that all parents are encouraged to attend.
This (3) three-week program will be open to students who are current 3rd through 5th graders.
Students participating in our virtual program will be assigned one hour of online instruction with mentors through Zoom, where they will be guided through a hands-on design process and curriculum packet encompassing core engineering concepts. Students will also participate in Showcase Friday, where they will be able to show off their creations and have them highlighted on social media.
